HOW TO GET STARTED
If you are an employee or Johnson County, Kansas and would like to sign up to use the eCivis Grants Locator, please follow the steps below:
Step 1. Contact Kenneth Watt, County Grants Manager at 913-715-0561 or by email him to let him know that you are interested in using the service.
Step 2. Sign up for the eCivis Grants Locator Training. Please see "Training" for more information about how to sign up.
Step 3. Begin using eCivis Grants Locator from the convenience of your own computer.
Getting Started for 501 c Nonprofit Organizations:
Step 1. Call or email the Budget and Financial Planning Department to indicate your interest in using eCivis Grants Locator. Contact Kenneth Watt, County Grants Manager, at 913-715-0561 or by email.
Step 2. Request a "Memorandum of Understanding" (MOU) from the Budget and Financial Planning Department or download and print a copy of the MOU.
Step 3. Review the MOU thoroughly to make sure that you are willing to comply with the terms of the agreement.
Step 4. Fill in and sign the MOU*
Step 5. Return the completed MOU to:

Step 6. You will receive your username and password account at the time of training. Your account will be valid through December 31, 2007.
Step 7. (Optional) Participate in the eCivis Training for Nonprofits.
* You will receive a completed copy signed by the County for your records.
